ASSI is a group of Safety Professionals, who collectively, have worked for well over half a century in various safety related fields. We have experience in construction, oil and gas, marine, public safety, and general industry operations. Our staff has many years of experience as safety and regulatory compliance instructors, and all are authorized OSHA Outreach instructors.

William L. (Bill) Meekins	Bill is the President and Co-Founder of American Safety Solutions, and has over 35 years of experience in dealing with day to day safety issues. He has held senior executive positions in safety management from Alaska to Florida and has worked in several different industries from petro-chemical to construction. Bill is an accomplished instructor and has developed numerous safety management programs. He is one of the principal authors of many of ASSI's training programs. Bill is familiar will all aspects of safety and regulitory compliance and is the "Hub" of ASSI's operation.
William R. (Bobby) Neal	Bobby is the Executive Vice President and Co-Founder of American Safety Solutions, and has been in the safety business for well over 20 years. Having worked for many years in the public safety arena, Bobby held positions ranging from Firefighter to Fire Chief, and based on this experience, has seen first hand, the often deadly results of company's failing to provide a safe work environment for their employees. After leaving the public sector, Bobby held executive safety management positions with two large corporations where he was responsible for the development, implementation, training and enforcement of their corporate safety programs. He has also successfully managed construction and fixed facility production operations, so he clearly understands the concept of "getting the job done".
Keith Wendland	Keith joined the ASSI team in early 2006 after previously working with us as an independent contractor, during our responses to the Florida hurricanes of 2004 and 2005. Keith is well versed in construction safety operations and is skilled in communicating company/client expectation to field personnel.
Francisco Vizcaya	Francisco joined our team in 2008 to assist us in training our client's Spanish speaking employees. Over the course of the year Francisco has become much more than just an instructor, and is working in the field directly with our client's work force to help those who simply don't understand the rules, because they don't understand the language, work in a safe manner. In the construction industry (in particular) a bi-lingual capability is essential to a safe and efficient operation, and we're proud to be able to bring that capability to our client's safety program.
